My faith guides my compassion, integrity, and commitment to serving others with humility and hope.
Tyrita Milligan is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling practicum student at Liberty University completing her training with Trinity Care of Ohio, LLC. She brings a diverse background shaped by eight years of honorable activeduty service in the United States Navy, where she developed resilience, discipline, cultural awareness, and a deep commitment to serving others.
Tyrita holds a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management and has professional experience supporting youth, adults, and families through traumainformed care, crisis intervention, and communitybased mental health services. As a former Qualified Mental Health Specialist, she has worked with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and complex life stressors. She is also a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).
Her clinical interests include trauma recovery, anxiety, depression, crisis stabilization, and multicultural counseling. Tyrita’s therapeutic approach is grounded in Narrative Therapy, personcentered principles, and strengthsbased care. She values honoring each client’s lived experience, cultural identity, and personal resilience. When appropriate and requested, she integrates faithbased support to help clients draw strength from their spiritual beliefs.
Tyrita is passionate about empowering individuals to build emotional wellness, strengthen coping skills, and reconnect with their sense of purpose and hope. She is honored to serve the Toledo community through her practicum at Trinity Care of Ohio.
