Sarah is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling practicum student completing her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Recreational Therapy from The University of Toledo and is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS).
Sarah’s background in recreational therapy brings a unique and practical perspective to her clinical work. She integrates leisure and activity-based approaches to help clients build coping skills, improve emotional well-being, and reconnect with meaningful aspects of life. She works with individuals across the lifespan—from children to adults—supporting clients through life transitions, decision-making, and the emotional challenges that often accompany major life events.
Her therapeutic approach is rooted in person-centered therapy and strengths-based therapy, providing an empowering, empathetic, and supportive space for clients to explore and process emotions, build resilience, and pursue meaningful change. Sarah is committed to supporting each person’s unique journey toward greater well-being.
