Nicole is a Marriage and Family Therapy trainee currently pursuing her Master’s degree at Montreat College. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Franklin University and holds associate degrees in psychology and general studies from Owens Community College. Her academic background reflects a strong and ongoing commitment to understanding the complexities of individuals, relationships, and family systems. She works with couples and families who are feeling stuck in patterns of miscommunication, conflict, or disconnection, as well as those navigating life transitions that are impacting their relationships. She understands how overwhelming these experiences can feel and is passionate about helping clients make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface while identifying clear, practical steps forward. Her approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and narrative therapy. She helps clients recognize patterns in thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and explore the stories that shape how they see themselves and others. Through this process, clients are able to develop new perspectives, improve communication, and build stronger, more intentional relationships. She brings a balance of warmth, collaboration, and thoughtful directness into the therapy space. Clients can expect to feel supported and respected, while also being gently challenged in ways that promote growth and accountability. She believes therapy should be both a place of understanding and a space for meaningful progress.
Her goal is to help clients gain insight, strengthen their relationships, and develop tools they can confidently use in their daily lives to create lasting change.
