Steve was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. Over the past sixty-eight years he has had the opportunity to work for and with people of diverse cultures and beliefs. After graduating from Whitmer High School in 1971, Steve started working at General Motors as a machine operator. In 1988 he became a quality control analyst, then for seventeen years served as a union representative for Local 14. Steve retired in 2006 after more than thirty-five years of service.
In recovery since 2014, Steve has been a member of Raising the Bottom, an AA group in west Toledo, since its inception. He was a group monitor for Glenbeigh Intensive Outpatient for over two years and has volunteered at numerous detox, recovery, and residential facilities.
Steve is the proud father of two daughters and has six grandchildren who he is fortunate to enjoy spending time with in retirement. He is also an avid fisherman, hunter and gatherer.
Steve looks forward to helping people work through addiction and substance use issues so they can get back on track and find a new way of life through personal insight and spiritual growth.
